Critique of Libertarianism(Neo-Liberalism)

Libertarinas argue that the Government should not support weaker sections of society. Accordingly, a handicapped person should not be given any assistance. If it was given it will do injustice to able bodied person in his entitlement of fair amount of share. If it is so why should the Government implement the contracts through administering Justice? Let the law of the forest prevail. In Knowledge Business those who can afford to pirate and violate copyright restriction can do so after all they are using the facilities at their disposal to do so. The government intervention by implementing contracts is to violate the individual rights and liberties in the same language of Libertarians. In the same way those who have the access and skill to use weapons can threaten wealthy people and rob them of their wealth. Why should the Government intervene? Won’t the intervention violate the individual liberty and right of these robbers? After all they are using the skills at their disposal to survive in this land of forest advocated by Libertarians. At this stage these libertarians will definitely seek the help of spiritual gurus and Religion to advice people to observe morality in order to maintain their position. By extending this same argument we can argue that it is the duty of the Government to take care of physically handicapped and weaker sections of people to meet their survival needs even at the cost of the erosion of wealth of Superrich.

Communist Party of China and Market Forces:

The best brains of the country and the bourgeoisie capitalism and technology should be made to work for the sake of benefit of entire community rather than to improve the luxury lifestyle of a fraction of the population. Political control over the economic forces will make this objective a possibility. When closely observed, it seems China is evolving such a polity and economy. The Communist Government in China makes the market forces to work for the betterment of its population through channels set by its policies. As the masses cannot manage the big affairs better and they cannot innovate technologies to improve their life, the elites should be made to work for them, with political control over elite by masses. In this model the economic sphere is essentially left to the market forces as the market does it better than state and political sphere is essentially controlled by people through Communist Party rather than leaving it to capitalist elite as is the case with representative democracy in which power is acquired by using money and muscle power. This Chinese model may evolve as a solution for the crisis of Capitalism.

Spiritualism and Marx:

If we assume that there is no such thing as spiritual-sense that goes beyond normal human physical senses referred in Hinduism as the sense to see inward and realize God through that sense, then religion becomes a simple conditioning device to sustain the existence of human race. It means that the existence of religion is only for the material survival of human being by creating fraternity, and love among people so that they will not exploit (or eat) each other.
When we reject the existence of any such sense beyond physical sense, we will come closer to the analysis of Marx about Religion. Accordingly, Religion is just a superstructure made to preserve, further and promote existing material and social conditions and relations and in particular to meet the survival needs of human race.

On Corruption

Corruption is one of the most famous themes around which there exists widespread public consciousness in India, especially in Tamilnadu. One cannot blame only the political and bureaucratic class of corruption in this neoliberal globalized capitalist world, which has made people to believe that they can survive only by constantly acquiring and accumulating money. It has become a global phenomena that pursuit of money being the only noble cause for which the entire humanity should work towards. For example doctors are establishing multi-million worth health businesses catering only to those who can give them in lakhs and crores.

The brainpower of the entire country (technocrats) is being made to work for the high technology corporate to serve the global market of few elites who can afford such high technology, rather than solving the survival problems of crores of people living around them. Even the spiritual gurus are establishing meditation and yoga businesses to cater to these needs of foreign elites who could afford their high consultation charges. In this situation, when everyone of us are running behind money and are fixing the worth of human being based on his bank deposits, how can we expect politicians and bureaucrats alone to work for the sake of nation or morality or whatsoever you call.
