Spiritualism and Marx:

If we assume that there is no such thing as spiritual-sense that goes beyond normal human physical senses referred in Hinduism as the sense to see inward and realize God through that sense, then religion becomes a simple conditioning device to sustain the existence of human race. It means that the existence of religion is only for the material survival of human being by creating fraternity, and love among people so that they will not exploit (or eat) each other.
When we reject the existence of any such sense beyond physical sense, we will come closer to the analysis of Marx about Religion. Accordingly, Religion is just a superstructure made to preserve, further and promote existing material and social conditions and relations and in particular to meet the survival needs of human race.

I agree with ur thoughts mann......religion was created to seed belief in the minds of the people who did not have self belief....i believe religion is a weapon of the weak who do not believe in their own abilities but in the power of the almighty to get them out of their worries.
